Thomas M. Morelli, Esq.

Tommy was born and raised in Manhasset, New York. He graduated from Manhasset High School in 2006 and then moved on to Hartwick College, where he received a bachelor’s degree in business administration. Upon graduating from Hartwick College, Tommy earned a Business Certificate from Ocean University in Qingdao, China.

Upon returning from China, Tommy moved to Manhattan and worked as an executive recruiter for several years before returning to law school at New York Law School. He successfully graduated from law school in 2016.

Following law school, Tommy began his legal career at a small law firm focused on real estate matters in Long Island and Manhattan. Due partly to the COVID-19 pandemic and the fact that Tommy and his wife were looking for a change in pace, they moved to Albany, which also allowed them to be closer to family in the area. Tommy was hired as an Associate in the General Counsel’s Office of the Labor Union Civil Service Employee Association (“CSEA”). During his time at CSEA, Tommy represented both CSEA and its members in various legal matters, including but not limited to breach of contract disputes as well as disciplinary arbitrations.

Wanting to continue in private practice, Tommy joined Kelly and Sellar Ryan PLLC in April of 2024. Tommy primarily handles estate administration, real property, business, family, and matrimonial law matters.

Outside of his professional life, Tommy cherishes his time with his wife and daughter.
